Google Maps – from: 2880 Shadelands Dr, Walnut Creek, CA 94598 to: 1430 MT DIABLO BLVD, Walnut Creek, CA

OK. I am officially impressed. I checked out the map capabilities of Google. It ROCKS! Satelite imagery with your route super imposed. It doesn’t get better than that. Bye bye maps.yahoo.com

  1. yep…I really like GMaps. Though, I don’t think I’d cast away Y! Maps all together. They just opened up their Maps Web Services API, so some cool stuff is sure to be the chute. They also do some things differently from the google API. I don’t know enough to speak intelligently on the subject though. I’ve been using this Greasemonkey script to add geo tags to my photos on flickr to pinpoint GPS location per photo.
